The space includes many amenities and higher end furnishings. There are two Smart TVs (one in the living room, one in the bedroom) with complimentary Netflix, Hulu Live, and Amazon Prime. Fast WiFi is included. There is a large desk with a comfortable chair for an ample work space.
The apartment has A/C and a rinnai heater. There are ceiling fans in both the living space and bedroom. The bedroom has room darkening shades, luxe brook linen sheets, and a noise machine to help with a restful nights sleep.
Guests will have access to their own Weber propane grill on the deck. There is a dining table and lounge area on the deck as well, with a large umbrella to provide shade in summer months.
In the lower seating area closest to the river, guests are invited to enjoy the scenery, as that area is reserved for guest use. You can also launch your kayaks, canoes, or SUPs from the dock as well.
The apartment is outfitted with fresh linens and towels for your stay. Fully equipped kitchen with flatware, dishes, glasses, pots/pans, keurig elite for coffee, tea kettle, and more.
We also provide (2) tommy bahama beach chairs & umbrella, beach towels, a cooler, complimentary toiletries, and a graco pack n play for those traveling with infants.

We have an air mattress should you travel with a 3rd guest but please be advised that the space is not catered to host more than 2 guests comfortably - i.e. the air mattress would have to be set up in the living room, making things feel a bit cramped. There is also a surcharge for extra guests. I’m

The apartment is self check-in. However, we are available to answer any questions, or give recommendations/advice! My husband Paul and I live in the main house on the property, and I also work from home.
The property is surrounded by the golf course and over 200 feet of tidal river that is the town border of Kennebunkport and Arundel. Quiet and secluded, yet close to everything. Just over a mile from Dock Square (downtown) Kennebunkport, which offers shopping, and a variety of restaurants.
If you have kayaks or paddle boards, you can follow the river past the golf course, through Dock Square, and continue down along Ocean Avenue in the river until you hit open ocean/Kennebunk beach!
A few miles away are multiple beaches to visit! Rated # 1 on `Top Places to Visit in Maine` on TripAdvisor, your vacation to Kennebunkport is sure to be a hit!
The apartment is 1.3 miles to town. The first half mile of River Road does not have a sidewalk, but the rest of the way does - should you choose to walk into town. There is a trolley in town for sight-seeing. In the summer months, we have a local transportation company - RideMaine, and Uber is also available at times, should you need transportation.
**We do not allow second party bookings (booking for someone else if you won’t be in attendance as well). Due to our pets on the property, we cannot allow pets in the apartment. Thank you for your cooperation!**
PLEASE no eating or drinking in the bed. If the bed linens have permanent staining/damages, guests are liable for cost of replacement.
During warmer months when the golf course is open, there may be some noise from the mowing/leaf blowing/other golf course maintenance. It is usually in the morning before the course gets busy for the day.
The entry to the apartment requires climbing 12 exterior deck stairs. Once on deck, no additional steps required.
The bathroom offers both a shower and tub, but to those taller guests- the ceiling is sloped and head room may be a little tight for some. We apologize for this!
We have a dog - a white husky and cats you may see in the window. The dog will always be on a leash while outside, in our yard away from the apartment.
***Please no eating or drinking in the bed. You will be subject to the cost of replacement of bedding should anything be stained or ruined***
We understand that many people enjoy eating and drinking while hanging out on the couch but please be mindful of any spilled items and make use of our cleaning products to remove any stains or let us know so we may address it. Otherwise you may be charged for damages.
