Perfect for two families or two groups of friends to enjoy, this wonderful Orick retreat is split into two distinct sides, with each side offering a full kitchen for easy meal prep at the end of the day. The larger side of the home boasts two bedrooms. If the grandparents or a couple have come along with the group, they can get some privacy in the studio on the other side of the home, which is still spacious and offers plenty of room to spread out. When everyone returns to home base after various adventures nearby, you'll find a private gas grill on the large deck, where you can cook up burgers and dogs at sunset. Plus, free WiFi and flatscreen TVs will keep everyone entertained as the stars come out. Just be sure to prepare a bowl of popcorn to make movie nights official.

This retreat is just the place to get away from it all while still being a mere half-mile from the heart of Orick. When you want to get outside, head over to Redwood National and State Parks to see the world's tallest trees, or make your way two miles west to the moody beaches of Northern California or to the magical and ancient Fern Canyon. A few minutes north brings you to old-growth temperate rainforest in Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park. Guided tours of the area are readily available at Redwood Adventures.

Each side of the duplex has one camera facing the driveway. In the back of the home, the Studio B side has two cameras facing the back deck and back yard.
Please note that this home sits between cattle and chicken farms. Rooster crows and highway noise are present.

Food and Dining: The wildlife is fantastic because Elk Meadow Cabins is remote. We highly recommend that you bring your own groceries or make reservations at nearby sit-down restaurants. The Orick town market and Shoreline Deli are the nearest convenience stores.
