Positive: Our stay at this beautiful cabin was by far the best accommodation we had in all of Sri Lanka — and honestly, one of the best we’ve experienced anywhere in Southeast Asia (and we’ve been to many places!). The cabin itself is absolutely stunning — everything works perfectly, it’s beautifully designed, wonderfully equipped, and feels truly luxurious. From every side you look straight into the jungle, which gives it such a magical and special atmosphere. In the garden there’s even a big rock you can climb up to watch the sunrise with breathtaking views of Lion Rock and Pidurangala Rock. The location couldn’t be better: you can easily walk to both rocks, to the town center, and to lovely cafés and restaurants nearby. But honestly, you don’t even need to leave the property — everything about it is so perfect that you’ll just want to stay there and relax. The food was without question the best of our entire trip — both breakfast and dinner were prepared with so much love and care. Dula, Ruwan and the whole family are the most wonderful hosts you could wish for. From the very first moment until the second we left, we felt genuinely welcome and taken care of. They even organized a surprise for my birthday — one of the sweetest gestures I’ve ever experienced. We would come back anytime and recommend this place from the bottom of our hearts. 💛
