Bring your kayak or paddle board for some water fun on Herrick Reservoir, just a short 1.3 mile jaunt down the road. Trout and Perch entice the fisherman, as Lake Cascade is only about 15 minutes away. There are plenty of trails for the ATVs, bikers, and hikers to explore as well. For the winter sports enthusiast, you can snowmobile to Packer John Mountain, East Mountain, Silver Creek Plunge, and even Warm Lake, right out the back door of the cabin.
Don't feel like cooking? Drive 15 beautiful minutes to Cougar Mountain Lodge where they would love to host you for their famous Prime rib dinner! Tamarack Resort is only 45 min away for the skier, snowboarder, or spa girl in your life! The best part of a fun filled day at the cabin is coming home to share stories over the campfire and enjoy the amazing views of West Mountain. There's plenty of parking for trailers as well. For your convenience there is a mud room with boot dryers, WIFI and a washer and dryer.
