Summary: My stay was incredible. It was such a cute little ranch. The staff I met was super nice, super helpful.
Arriving was a bit overwhelming because I didn’t know my way but I was guided and helped really fast. It was super comfortable, extra cozy. I didn’t expect the room to be squeaky clean because it’s a ranch but overall it was a great stay. Seeing Natasha(the bison) every morning was really cool.

Summary: This place has so much potential but the owner is over her head. We stayed in a teepee expecting a glamping experience as the description says. When you crawl into the teepee there are two beds & a bedside table. They tell you there is a battery operated lantern but they evidently don’t check their batteries regularly. Ours was dead. Since you do have to walk quite a way to the “bath house”, no flashlight is a problem. Lucky for us, while we were there they were having electric problems at the bathhouse so they opened one of the cabins for us to use. The beds were comfortable but go prepared for camping, not glamping. Breakfast wasn’t great but better than most hotels, you get to order from a menu.

Summary: When you read what is included in the tent stay at Lonesome Dove on Hotels.com you think you’re going to be “Glamping”…37 inch TV and all the other amenities it says it has! It has none of them except for the beds in the tent and the incredible breakfast! Other than that…which isn’t enough to warrant the price paid nothing they said was available was actually available! There are 4 tents with beds and 4 Teepee tents with beds! There is one women’s bathroom and one men’s! On the second morning we went to the bathhouse and there was no electricity and when you call the number you’re supposed to call it goes to voicemail and the message center is full! Had to go bang on the owners door to get someone to help! It took almost an hour to get electricity in the bathhouse and it kept shutting off and on! It appears they want to be profitable…hence the high price for a tent with beds but they do NOT have their act together yet! We did go horse back riding there and it was a wonderful experience! At breakfast you can choose to sit alone or with others and we made lifetime friends sitting with others! Also the road into the place is primitive!

Summary: Spacious property, pastoral splendor amidst the woods. The cabin we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and homey. Wonderful breakfast and friendly staff. Exceeded all my expectations in every way. They even had a buffalo in a spacious enclosure. Didn’t expect that!

Summary: Fun experience, this is staying in a tent/teepee so expect a camping like experience, except for the breakfast that is included which is made to order in their restaurant—which was delicious! Staff was very friendly.

Summary: It was interesting setting of accommodation. No power, no ice, no common area for ice or microwave, quite a walk to bathroom, and there was only one bathroom for girls. Shower pressure was good. Linens were cozy and comfy. Breakfast was really good, but serves 0830 to 1000 only. Though staffs were nice, I didn't feel welcomed probably beacuse they were not really friendly/bubbly.
