Exquisitely furnished with stunning mountain views, this newly remodeled, warm, and inviting home with hot tub is in a park like setting. A spring fed stream flows through the front of the property, and the Elkhorn Golf Course is off the back of the property. Wildlife including elk, deer, fox, ducks, and geese are often right out the back door.
The property offers the best of all worlds. It has a private setting with mature trees, but is only minutes from downtown Ketchum, Sun Valley Village, River Run and Dollar base areas for skiing/snowboarding, Sun Valley cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails, multiple golf courses, hiking trails, and Elkhorn amenities including pools, hot tubs, sauna, tennis/pickleball courts and more.
The main level features an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, floor to ceiling, two-story windows, and wood burning gas fireplace in the living area. The gourmet kitchen with Wolf and Viking appliances is separated from the living area with a wet bar that includes an under counter wine/beer cooler and ice maker, and seating for four at the breakfast bar. The dining room seats eight and includes beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The kitchen nook is perfect for morning coffee, enjoying a book, or watching a little television. There is a large laundry room with full size washer/dryer just off the kitchen. The main entry has two-story windows with a custom, glass, over-sized front door.
The main floor includes the spacious Master bedroom that has heated bathroom floors and heated towel rack, free standing bathtub, over-sized shower with bench, patio access with beautiful views, fireplace, wall mounted HDTV, walk-in closet, and king size bed. The second bedroom with en suite bathroom is also on the first floor. It includes a fireplace, couch, queen sized Murphy bed, and HDTV.
The second level includes two more spacious bedrooms with king size beds and en suite bathrooms. One bedroom has a wall mounted HDTV. The loft area includes two full size desks with plenty of workspace for two.
The new custom stone patio stretches across the back of the house with raised gardens, custom fire pit, and new hot tub.
The heated two car garage includes ski/snowboard boot warmers and the driveway snow-melt system is perfect for winter. There is room for at least four vehicles (two in garage and two in driveway). Additional daytime parking is available on Elkhorn road.
The Wood River Trail is a 20 mile paved, multi-use, year-round path that provides a non-motorized connection between the communities of Bellevue, Hailey, Ketchum, and Sun Valley. Access to the trail is directly across from the front of the property.
