Getting Around:
Getting around is easy! A free winter shuttle, operated by Selkirks Pend Oreille Transit (SPOT), runs from the "Red Barn" Park & Ride at the intersection of North Boyer & Schweitzer Mountain Road up to the village at Schweitzer Mountain. During the day in winter, the shuttle runs approximately every 30 minutes (first bus up around 6:30 AM, last up around 5:00 PM; the schedule may be extended on ski-resort twilight nights). At night, the shuttle runs every hour on certain days. The SPOT network also offers bus connections to nearby towns like Sandpoint, Dover, Ponderay, and Kootenai, making it simple to reach Schweitzer from town or nearby areas without a car. Free parking is available on the premises.
