Summary: This is a really neat, historic hotel. I wanted to love it, but was disappointed in several things. The hotel elevator is not working, which is okay, but it would have been nice for that to be clearly disclosed before booking. Same with the parking. There is a lot, but you have to walk up a good deal of stairs and none of the lights in the parking lot or up the stairs work, so it felt unsafe. The hotel has a cool esthetic if you like historical buildings, which we do. But there was a serious mold problem in the shower, which isn't about age. The batteries in the AC remote for the bedroom also weren't working, and we would have let someone know, but unfortunately didn't discover it until late at night. The TV was also having issues for any of the streaming services. They are all small things, but it was kind of a lot of small things that added up to make our stay less than stellar. It's a cool hotel, but they just need to work on some things.
