Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We loved the view from the upper deck. We saw blue whales and harbor seals. Ideal location in Depoe Bay. 1.5 blocks from downtown shops. This house is actually divided and the lower part can be rented out separately from the other. We rented the whole house and the door between the 2 units was unlocked for us. While this was a great location and view, the photos in the listing need updating. Upper master bathroom is different and the lower bedrooms are different than what was shown in pictures. There is no door on the bedrooms downstairs. However, response time from local manager Nick was exceptional.

Negative: They sent us the wrong code to enter the building but the support line was able to troubleshoot that and get us in. There were numerous small issues within the rental (broken drawer in closet, cupboards that were damaged in kitchen, scrapes on wall in master bedroom) that took away from the house being rated wonderful. We were never warned that the dishwasher was broken and when we reported it Nick the manager assured us he would comp us for lack of use. We are hoping to get that but nothing so far has been given. Lack of utensils in a gourmet kitchen was a surprise. Most drawers were empty. More tea towels, dish rags and hot pads are needed.
