You have an entire house to yourselves including access to a shared backyard appropriate for kids and adults. Easy commute to many famous hi-tech companies. This is a great family home with a huge kitchen and plenty of space for the children to play.
Enjoy the spectacular location a short 0.4 mile walk to the famous restaurants of Castro St and the heart of downtown Mountain View. Yet far enough from downtown so there’s little traffic or noise. It's a 0.2 mile walk to the Spacious Eagle Park and 0.3 miles from the MV Library.
The block this home is on is particularly nice with many remodeled homes and great neighbors who are a mix of families and professionals. Although close to so many things, this home is still on a very quite residential street and the owners of the home live right next door. If you are doing anything that may even possibly create noise or any problems for the neighbors, we're confident this is not the listing for you. Thanks for understanding.
We rent our entire property so we will not be staying there at all during our Guest's stay. We try our best to meet the Guest when they move in to show them around and at the end to collect the keys. However, we also have a secure process to exchange keys even when we cannot meet. We also live downtown Mtn View and are always available 24/7 by email, text or phone during your stay. Some guests like to interact a lot, asking for recommendations on restaurants, kid's activities, local outdoor activities, etc. Others we hear from at the beginning and then the end only. Whatever our Guests prefers!
This home is in the heart of Old Mountain View, just five blocks from vibrant downtown Castro St. The people of Old Mountain View love their neighborhood and are very proud of it. We think our Guests will love it as well!
You'll be 0.7 miles from the Mountain View Transit Center which has company buses to many hi-tech businesses, public buses, Caltrain (a Baby Bullet train stop to San Francisco in 45 minutes and San Jose in 14 mins) and Light Rail (goes right to Great America Amusement Park as well as the SF 49'ers new Levi's Stadium). We're close to highways CA85 (1.3 miles), US-101 (1.5 miles), CA237 (1.8 miles) and I-280 (3 miles), although you can't see or hear any of them. We're 11 miles from SJC (San Jose Airport), 24 miles from SFO (San Francisco Airport) and 34 miles from OAK (Oakland Airport).
No smoking in the house please.
No pets in the house or on the property.
We remove our shoes at the door but we don't require our Guests to do so.
Other than that, please just treat the place with the same respect you would expect from people living in your home and please respect our lovely neighbors.
