Built in 1940, this charming cabin with recent updates is perfect for your next family vacation! Savage Lake is a relatively warm lake nestled beneath the Cabinet Mountains, providing a comfortable experience. Sit on the covered deck & listen to the Savage Falls across the lake, letting nature create a peaceful escape. Try your hand at fishing & cast off the dock or take the kayaks out for a tour of the lake. Play games in the yard or wind down the evening with a campfire in the fire pit. The options are endless & the enjoyment is effortless. *FIRE RESTRICTION IN PLACE 8/2/24 -FIRE PIT HAS BEEN REMOVED.
The spacious kitchen has all the equipment needed & a butcher block island with seating for 2 to give space for preparing your meals. Grab your meal & head outside to the picnic table with umbrella or the dining room has seating for 6, with windows all around to give continuous views to the lake & the Cabinet Mountains. When not eating, this is the perfect space for the many board games you'll find!
Relax after dinner in the living room with a good book or enjoy a movie on the DVD player. When it’s time for bed, you’ll find the master bedroom on the main level with ample space, a desk, and a comfortable queen bed. Upstairs, the divided loft offers sleeping for four. To the left, there is a twin bed with a pull out trundle and to the right, two more twin beds. This is a great space for kids or kids at heart! Please note, the ceiling height is lower, so may not be suitable for everyone.
If you're wanting to bring your boat, the boat ramp is just a few minutes away & it's a quick ride to the Cabin where you'll be able to dock. Please note that the lake has motor limitations between 7PM and 10AM. This gives you time to enjoy the quiet and take in the views!
We have some life jackets on-site, but to ensure proper fitting, it is recommended that you bring your own! Children must be supervised by the water.
For those wishing to explore the area, you can enjoy hiking, biking, site seeing and make plans to
visit the Ross Creek Cedars. Another great adventure is the Kootenai Falls to the Kootenai Swinging Bridge! So much to do & see in the beautiful fresh mountain air!
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $1,500 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
