Gardiner Getaway is a charming, rustic vacation rental nestled in the scenic historic town of Jardine, Montana. Located 5 miles from Gardiner up a gravel road. This property took new ownership in the spring of 2023. The owners and managers are excited to share this property with guests and their families and friends.
The home provides lodging accommodations by offering two separate units (Unit 1- Bear's Lair #3541596 and Unit 2- Cub's Cache #3579993) that are attached under one roof, having a shared front porch, yard, and parking area. Each unit is a fully equipped space for guests to have all of their daily needs met. The units are available to be booked separately.
This unit (Unit 1: Bear’s Lair) was originally the site of a dance hall, with the saloon overlooking it. Now, this home, which was once a hunting lodge, boasts high wood ceilings and a wide open floor plan consistent with accommodating and feeding a group of hungry clients.
This Unit 1- Bear's Lair offers various amenities to enhance your stay:

Summary: Cozy cabin is a good description of this place. This was a very peaceful and relaxing location with a nice east facing porch to watch the sunrise in the morning. Everything was in order as one would expect and we had no issues. After spending a few nights at hotels in the national park, it was nice to get away from the crowds and have some space and peace, listening to bear creek trickle down below. It is about a 15 minute drive down to Gardiner if you want to stock up or grab a bite to eat, but the road to town is a little rough with washboarding. There are some immediate neighbors, but the area was quiet and peaceful. We will consider staying here in the future.
