Excellent fishing access to the Clark Fork River. Petty Creek, Fish Creek and Nine Mile Creek are minutes from your doorstep or use the boat launch at the end of the road (2 mi) for easy access to various stretches of the Clark Fork River. Within 5 minutes of the House: World Class Fishing and guides, Lewis and Clark Scenic Byway, whitewater rafting in the Alberton Gorge, Hiawatha Trail, mountain biking, hiking, trail running, rock climbing and bird, elk, deer, mountain lion, bear and big horn sheep hunting during season. Within 30 minutes of the House: multiple National Forest trail heads, Snowbowl Ski Area, Lolo Pass Recreation Area, The Lochsa River, The Bitterroot River, The Blackfoot River, Lolo Hot Springs and much more.
Note: There are 2 flights of STEEP stairs inside the cabin so please be mindful of your ability to navigate up and down stairs. Knowing this ahead of time will make your stay much more enjoyable! If steep stairs are challenging for anyone in your party, this may not be the right fit :)
