Luxurious log home located less than 10 minutes drive from Big Sky Ski Resort world class downhill ski slopes. Ski-in-ski out access to the 85 kilometers of groomed cross country trails of Lone Mountain Ranch, and miles to explore on snow shoe or foot. Yellowstone Park is a one hour drive away for snow coach, cross country ski, and snowmobile tours in the winter and full access in the summer. This 3,600 sq ft house is artistically constructed with large cedar logs, a stone fireplace, and stone accents. The great room with a large antler chandelier is open to the kitchen and has amazing views of Lone Peak to the west and the pine forest to the east. The kitchen is furnished with top of the line appliances and is equipped with everything you need to cook a gourmet meal for up to 16 people. The multiple zone radiant floor heat will keep you cozy in the winter and in the summer, open the windows and let in the cool mountain air. The master bedroom on the first floor includes a 55 inch HD TV, jet tub, walk-in shower, walk-in closet, and a private patio with access to the hot tub. A second bedroom with a queen bed and a bunk room with three twin beds are also located on the first floor. The large second floor bedroom provides some of the best views in the house and has a king bed and it’s own full bath. For larger parties, there are two additional queen pull-out sofas located in the great room and upstairs bedroom. If you can’t completely disconnect from the outside world, the house has good cell phone coverage and includes high speed Internet access, the full line up of DirectTV channels, Netflix, Apple TV, and a Wii game system in the bunk room. Situated along a ridge line on a 20 acre lot, the house is tucked into the pine forest with a local elk herd, moose, and bears passing through regularly. The back patio offers incredible views of Lone Mountain, the Big Sky ski slopes, and surrounding forest, and provides easy access to the seven person hot tub.
