Summary: This rental overall is very nice and clean and the pictures represent the property. The neighborhood is very nice, central to shopping and various venues of entertainment. Includes a grill, fireplace, pool and ample seating. This single story home is surrounded by two story ones, making feel a bit like a fishbowl as all the neighbors second story windows look down on the pool area. There are typically small details that detract from the overall experience, but unfortunately there were many which made the experience okay, but a bit less than premium. 1) The door lock did not work, leaving us outside for 30 minutes and requiring multiple visits to correct. 2) Basic information was included but special details like use of the fireplace, grill, laundry or pool were absent. 3) The house next door had two dogs that barked for hours at a time making relaxing by poolside improbable. 4) No garage space was made available. The support posts in the driveway prevented exit from the vehicle while pulled up and if you stayed back the vehicle was over the sidewalk. The sprinkler system sprayed often leaving the vehicle perpetually spotted. 5) The knives in the knife block were rusty and dull to the point they were mostly unusable. 6) Every morning the pool was cold. I did reach out twice to the management company and the pool heat/circulation was started for the day, but only operated only randomly throughout our stay. 7) The living room reclining chair crease was filled with dry dog food. We were assured the property was pet free prior to renting. 8) The management company advised us a contractor was to stop and take measurements for future improvements. After setting up a ladder and drilling where we were set up, we asked him to reschedule. Maintenance or emergency repairs are understandable but scheduling elective improvements during paid rental time is frankly a bit disrespectful. 9) A broken fan switch in the bathroom was moved behind the door about 7’ up. This is not accessible to a smal person, and should be labeled. 10) The days which were indicated for garbage pick-up were incorrect. 11) No pool toys were included. 12) The kitchen had a large amount of baking equipment, but no glass bowls, food processor or mixer to use. 13) Only plastic NON-microwave safe dishes were available, making cooking in the microwave impossible. 14) We never used the garbage disposal, but it immediately had a strong odor that permeated the house.
